Amber Brook Farms is a family-owned and operated farm located in Eustis, Florida. They offer a variety of u-pick fruits and flowers, including blueberries, strawberries, peaches, sunflowers and zinnias. The blueberry season runs from April to June, and the farm is open Thursday through Saturday. The price per package of prepackaged blueberries is $13. Amber Brook Farms also offers lots of fun activities centered around children.

2. Beck’s Brothers Blueberries

Beck’s Brothers Blueberries is a large-scale blueberry farm located in Windermere, Florida. They offer a u-pick option, as well as blueberries that are already picked and packaged. The blueberry season runs from April to May, and the farm is open at various times depending upon weather and ripeness of the berries. It’s best to follow their Facebook page for updates or call before heading over. You can pick a pint, clamshell or bucket amount. Beck’s Brothers Blueberries also offers fresh honey.

Blueberry Hill Farms is a family-owned and operated farm located in Clermont, Florida. They offer 13 acres of organic berries to pick. The blueberry season runs from April to June, and the farm is open various times so it’s best to check their social media. The price per bucket of blueberries is $7.50 per pound. Blueberry Hill Farms also offers a variety u-pick sunflowers as well.

4. Chapman’s Berries

Chapman’s Berries is a family-owned and operated farm located in St. Cloud, Florida. They only offer blueberries. The blueberry season runs from April to June, and they tend to open and close depending upon weather and harvest, so call before you visit. The price is $4 per pound and they only accept cash or checks.

5. Far Reach Ranch

Far Reach Ranch is a family-owned and operated farm located in Mims, Florida. They offer a variety of u-pick fruits including blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries. The blueberry season runs from April to June, and the farm is open 6 days a week, closed on Mondays. They also offer baked goods and jams.

Tips for Blueberry Picking

Here are a few tips for blueberry picking:

• Choose a farm that is close to home so that you can spend less time in the car and more time picking blueberries.
• Call ahead to the farm to check the blueberry picking hours and to see if they have any special events or activities planned.
• Wear comfortable clothing and shoes that you can move around in easily.
• Bring a hat and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun.
• Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
