My Top 5 Places to Grab Breakfast in Orlando
Wake up, my friends! It’s time to start your day off right with a delicious breakfast. And I’m not talking about your average pancakes and bacon. I’m talking about a truly exciting breakfast. The kind of breakfast that’s amazing, flavorful and worthy of getting out of bed for. I have a couple of recommendations for you so here’s my top 5 places to grab breakfast in Orlando.
First Watch
I know, I know. You are going to say First Watch is a chain and can’t be good. But, hear me out. Just try it. It’s excellent. You are going to find some bright and flavorful seasonal juices like a healthy kale tonic, delicious granola bowls that make eating healthy fun and really hearty hash recipes that will give you energy for the day. Try the farm house hash, thank me later.
Hash House a Go-Go
Hash House a Go-Go is a fun and lively spot that serves up huge, over-the-top breakfast plates. Their pancakes are the size of your head, and their omelets are stuffed with enough meat and cheese to feed a small army. The Bloody Mary’s are a meal in itself.
Maple Street Biscuit Company
Maple Street Biscuit Company is a great option for those who love biscuits. I come for the maple vanilla latte, and carry on the maple madness with The Sticky Maple Sandwich. If you’re a biscuit lover you’ll find this place heaven with unique biscuit sandwich combos as well as biscuit and gravy platters. One of the combos features maple meatballs, get that one.
Se7en Bites
Se7en Bites was once visited by the one and only Guy Fieri and featured on an episode of Diners Drive Ins and Dives. Since then this place has exploded, expanded a gotten better with age. I don’t think you can order a bad dish on the menu. I am going to warn you though, you may need a trip to the doctor when your finished, but who counts calories and cholesterol anyways? May I highly suggest the 7th Trimester? It’s a buttermilk garlic biscuit, topped with an over medium egg, applewood smoked bacon, smothered in 5 cheese mac n’cheese, topped with a potato chip bacon crumble. It’s delicious.
Peach Valley Cafe
Peach Valley Cafe is a hidden gem in Orlando. They serve all the classics but they offer a couple of my favorite sweet surprises. The peaches and cream muffin and the sack of fresh apple fritters dipped in cinnamon sugar served with strawberry yogurt dipping sauce. This is my go to when my sweet tooth is awake.
I hope this gives you some inspiration for your next breakfast adventure in Orlando! If you need more, just give me a call. I am always available to talk about Orlando.
